It ‘been a couple of weeks and I spent a lot of time with this. This is an upgrade for me from the Quantaray 70-300, and costs about 3 times as much. When he arrived, the size blew away. So my first copy of this objective was complete TRASH! 100% NOT USED. He had terrible problems in front of focus to the point where the edges of each board were incandescent. I will reply back if / when I ever actually receive the order to replace – Keep your fingers crossed for a very slow meglio.A this point I’m afraid that might be found another target of lemon that frustrate me even more, as I going to Costa Rica next week and I usually have my obiettivo.La My recommendation: This is the kind of goal that must be purchased from a shop where you can try before you buy to make sure your getting a good copy, and not a copy CRAP. / end rant.

Let me say that I own (and professional), other two Tamron lenses and they are simply fantastic. However, this goal has been called a disappointment. Under the lens makes the major openings 10 and less than 8 is unusable. It might work for the casual / novice photographer, but if you make a living off of photography this lens is useless. Sure, it’s about 1 / 2 the price of comparable Canon L series zoom, but you get exactly like the more you pay for. The colors are ok throughout the range of openness, but the sharpness-wise is a disaster. Auto-focus, as others have said, is too slow. Element has been returned.
