The biggest drawback for Nickel Metal Hydride batteries is the shelf life. I’ve got gadgets and toys around the house, so I always charge the batteries ready when I need it. There will be very shortly when the juice on the shelf unused for a few months. A waste of time and energy. Therefore, one of the greatest advances in battery technology is the advent of new nickel-based batteries at low speed-metal-hydride. It’s great for the environment. I have very little left of the former since I started to replace all batteries with a low rate. Eneloop and Duracell are 2 of best in class.

a problem with most rechargeable batteries is that they are always dead when you need it. . thats caused by the self-discharge. . you may not realize the full capacity of your battery, unless you charge just before use. . eneloop then I found I could not understand why they were not before new pages. . What a pleasure to recharge your flashlight and just leave the car or in a drawer for months and still there when you need it. . . Take your camera to take that first stroke of life and of course his death. . with the eneloop it still works, even after months of sitting. . Eneloop can weeks or months in advance will be needed between them and yet at capacity. . I really want my cordless drill, such a battery. . Sorry if I sound like a commercial, but I am a retired engineer and I’m really happy with the Eneloop. . We use them wherever possible. . The new LED flashlights love. . even the color of the battery is a good idea. . the cover illustration is such that you will never be confused with the batteries. . (I have a few other brands in this way). . Sanyo has done a good job on the battery. . I can not imagine that someone unhappy. .
I am a photographer and I use multiple flashes in a wireless system, each requires 4AA. Of the AA, I tried, it seems to be the best job in terms of sustainability goes. I get most of my pictures with flash using this.
The Eneloop batteries and charger are a tandem excellent product. I am constantly surprised after hundreds of pictures with flash revealed that only 20% of the battery is depleted. A very good product and I have more than 10 packs of four AA batteries and this version of rechargeable batteries to buy in the future. My highest recommendation.
The charger is great. I thought about buying one of the chargers Nice recommended for Eneloop batteries, but when I arrived in the mail that I that I will try before shelling out money. Well, it does the job. recharge the batteries quickly. I have not timed, but maybe 4 hours? I have 16 of these batteries and they just cross the charger after a trip. And the batteries are amazing in my camera!
