This camera has the image worse. Its more of an external camera for shooting in my house, I could not see anyones face. I sent back and bought the Polaroid. The software is easy to install.
I also bought at a lower price from J & R, and now I’m waiting for my return shipping label. . . this thing is a piece of garbage! All I wanted was YouTube-quality video, and CAM3000 not express. Just ordered this from Amazon 2 days ago and I today. Can not speak for the life of the battery, as they have not used long enough. Literally popped the batteries in & had the chance to recover. The software is very simple. If you have a printer or docking station that accepts the SD card does not even have to use the wires even if they are just your standard USB. It also comes with cables to connect to your TV. It’s all very clear and I have tried everything. I’m almost a computer whiz and I’ve already done a “movie” and slide show with pictures and video that I captured in this small camcorder. Now is not the sharpest writers in the video world, but I’m just looking for a pocket recorder to put in my bag and take with me for those moments when you want to scan something and the camera is too bulky. Over my 5 years is too rough on it. This is perfect especially @ $ 40 does not bother him ruin. You should buy it and keep it with you for those who have had occasion to moments with the kids!
For the price you can not beat the video and image quality. Has a great zoom, but the video quality does not degrade the farther you zoom. It was fun and easy to use. The batteries ran down a lot faster than I thought they would, but since they are AAA are easy to replace. Another complaint is that it does not have a flash for indoor pictures. The light is not bright enough. But it seems to make amends for the video indoors. Over all I give a good review. I was ready to seize the opportunity for such a low price. I had no problem with it (except the photos in low light conditions) or any software on my computer. We had fun connecting the camera directly to your TV.
I took two of these for family and love them. Really good value for your $ $. Easy to use and decent quality video. Do not expect HD for $ 30, but you can not beat the price. Take up to an 8GB SD card, which records more than 2 hours of video. He will also be stills. Small size makes it easy to carry around.
