I hate this low rate because I am sure that the product is suitable for their intended use. Anyway, I was looking for a remote, so you can take a family photo for the Christmas tree. I thought this would be the point, but when I got it I realized that I would need a ten meters long arm around my job as the cable is very short. . . only about one meters long or so. My mistake. When I bought the remote RC1 for Digital Rebel (also from Amazon) and love it. This is, in principle, used to steady the camera on a tripod so they are not actually a button on the camera button. I bought the Canon remote switch because of necessity. What I wanted was a wireless remote. Since Canon does not offer wireless remote is baffling and frustrating.
