I purchased this camera about a year ago with the intention of making home videos. Actually I did some research on cameras, and not wanting to spend a boat load of cash, I decided on the Flip Video camcorder. So I went to Best Buy to buy one, but when I arrived, the employee insisted that I have the AIPTEK HD camcorder. I was pumped, I got a new camera, and was about to go shoot some footage. I captured the stuff I wanted, and inserted into the camera after a few moments the included software popped up as soon as I opened the software, my monitor has become pixels and can read. After several attempts I realized that I was sold a hi-def camcorder, and I am not in possession of a hi-def computer monitor. So now I’m here 10 months later with a camera that I can use. Buyer Beware, buy only if you think your computer can handle it

this piece of garbage dosent pick up sounds very well, then 2 months ater that has not yet reap the sounds at all, and doesn’t zoom in that well, then broke the joy stick, then the speaker cover fell, it’s no Cam Corder wonder this was only $ 100
Well I just received and havent find fault with it. Easy to use and configure. Takes great pictures.
